Terms of Service

1. Account
By creating an account you certify that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to upload the financial data of the company whose books you are loading. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. One person should not share login credentials across multiple users — invite teammates instead.
2. What you can do
Use GrowSight to import accounting data, run reports, and share results internally with your team or externally with your accountant or board. You retain full ownership of all the data you upload.
3. What you cannot do
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the application code or its outputs to build a competing product.
- Resell access to the platform without an explicit reseller arrangement (contact us if you want one).
- Upload data you are not authorized to process (someone else's books, scraped public data, etc.).
- Attempt to access another customer's data, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the service.
- Use the AI features to generate content unrelated to financial analysis (jailbreak attempts).
4. Plans, pricing and refunds
Subscription plans (FREE, STARTER, PRO, ENTERPRISE) and lifetime deal tiers are listed on the pricing page and on the partner platform (e.g. AppSumo) at the time of purchase. Subscription plans renew at the cadence stated at checkout; you can cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Lifetime deal purchases include all features of the tier purchased and free updates as described in the deal terms; AppSumo's standard 60-day refund policy applies.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime measured by an independent status page. We schedule maintenance with at least 24 hours notice via in-app banner and email. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service; for critical month-end close days we recommend exporting your reports as Excel/PDF in advance.
6. Data and AI
AI suggestions (account mapping, insights, chat answers) are generated by Anthropic's Claude models and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing the suggestions before relying on them for any operational, accounting or legal decision. The product is a tool to support your analysis, not a substitute for a professional accountant. The Privacy Policy details how AI processing and data residency work.
7. Liability
GrowSight is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrowSight is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the incident.
8. Termination
You can cancel and delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (notably § 3) with notice when reasonable. On termination, you can request a full data export within 30 days; after that, data is deleted irreversibly per the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email and an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
